2026 WOMEN's GOLF DAY
What an amazing Women’s Golf Day at Twin Hills Country Club!
From the beautiful weather and smiling faces to the laughter, camaraderie, and great golf, the day could not have been more special. Thank you to the 107 women who participated in both the 10am and 5pm shotguns and helped make our 2nd Women’s Golf Day such a tremendous success.
Events like this are a reminder of how important it is to continue growing the game for women and creating opportunities for friendship, confidence, fun, and community through golf. Seeing so many women of all skill levels out on the course enjoying the day together truly means the world to me.
A very special thank you to Laura, the kitchen staff, servers, and clubhouse team for the wonderful lunch and dinner service throughout the day. Thank you as well to our Director of Golf, Patrick Murphy, Assistant Golf Professional Joe Forget, and Superintendent Tyler O’Brien along with his staff for the excellent golf course conditions and all of their hard work behind the scenes helping the event run so smoothly.
My goal for next year is to continue growing this event and hopefully double its size. When I was at Lyman Orchards, we welcomed over 250 women for Women’s Golf Day, and I know with the amazing support and enthusiasm here at Twin Hills, we can continue building something truly special together.
Because of your generosity and support, we were also able to raise $1,000 toward a girls golf scholarship — thank you for helping us continue to grow the game and create opportunities for the next generation of female golfers.
Thank you all again for your support, energy, and enthusiasm. And remember… every day is Women’s Golf Day!
warmly, your favorite flip-flop-wearing LPGA Golf Pro.

Swing Fore the spectrum 4/29/26
Good afternoon friends,
On behalf of myself, Twin Hills Country Club, and Empowered Kids, THANK YOU to everyone who participated in, donated to, sponsored, volunteered for, and supported last week’s inaugural Swing Fore the Spectrum outing.
Because of your incredible generosity and support, together we raised $9,050 for Empowered Kids.
What started as an idea close to my heart became an unforgettable evening filled with kindness, laughter, connection, and community. Seeing over 100 people come together wearing bright colors for Autism Awareness Month while supporting local families and children was truly emotional and inspiring.
As many of you know, this event held personal meaning for me through my son Daniel and the incredible impact Empowered Kids and their amazing team — Heather Prouty, Karen Irving, Barb Butera, Deb Fiddler, and staff — have had on our lives over the past two years. Watching Daniel continue to thrive because of their dedication made giving back through this event incredibly special.
Thank you to all of our sponsors, raffle donors, volunteers, staff members, golfers, and dinner guests who helped make the night such a success. From the golf, raffles, and putting contest to the dinner and stories shared throughout the evening — the support and love in the room was overwhelming.
A special thank you as well to the Twin Hills staff, Patrick Murphy, Director of Golf, Tyler O'Brien and grounds crew, Laura and the kitchen staff, and everyone behind the scenes who helped bring this vision to life.
This event was about far more than golf. It was about awareness, acceptance, kindness, and community — and because of all of you, we are already excited to make Swing Fore the Spectrum an even bigger annual tradition each April during Autism Awareness Month. Going forward, my hope is to continue using this event to support a different local agency and/or charity each year, helping shine a light on organizations and families making a difference within our community.
Thank you again for helping make a difference.
Warm hugs,
