WHAT IS YOGA FOR GOLFER'S (YFG)?

WHO CAN DO THIS?

It accommodates every golfer AND nongolfer regardless of gender, age and skill level or fitness level. No experience necessary!  All stretches and poses can be modified.

WHY SHOULD I TAKE YOGA?

Would you like to pick up extra distance off the tee?  Do you have back pain or tight and stiff muscles?  Does it take you two to three holes to warm up?  No experience necessary and this class is for men and women!!  I guarantee you will feel great and it will transform your swing.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

I am so excited to offer Yoga For Golfer's classes.  In one, one hour class, I can increase your range of motion somewhere between 20-40%.  YFG incorporates flexibility, strength, balance, core conditioning, and breathing awareness.  YFG also teaches focus, relaxation and visualization techniques.  The sequence of postures is carefully designed to meet a golfer's specific needs.

WHERE DO YOGA CLASSES TAKE PLACE?

In season, classes are always held up top on one of our 36 hole Championship courses on Saturday mornings in person (and via Zoom), Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:30am via Zoom.  If a student cannot attend "live", a class recording may be sent!

Off season, classes will be held in the comfort of your own home and at your own leisure via Zoom.  If you cannot attend a class "live", all class recordings are uploaded here on the website!

WHAT DO I NEED?
- yoga mat or a couple large beach towels
- yoga block or towel, pillow
- yoga strap or robe belt
- a golf club
- a bottled water

You will wear comfortable clothing as if you were going to the gym.  Tee shirt, tank, capris, shorts, or leggings and flip flops or sneakers.
